Privacynotice.

The only personal data this site handles is what you choose to send us through the contact form. This page says what that is, where it goes and how long we keep it. Last updated 2 October 2026.

Who we are

WebbyOne is the trading name of Webby One, a performance media consultancy operating in the United Kingdom. Webby One is the data controller for anything you send us through this site.

Our address for correspondence is Arts Depot, North Finchley, London, N12.

The way to reach us about anything on this page is the contact form: choose “Something else” under You are if none of the other options fit, and say in the message that it is a privacy request.

What we collect

Nothing, unless you send us an enquiry. Browsing this site does not create an account, set a cookie or record who you are.

When you use the contact form or the “Book a call” form, we receive what you type: your name, your company, your work email address, whether you are an agency or an advertiser, your monthly media spend band, the channels you tick, what you would like us to look at, and your message. Two things are added automatically: the country your request came from and the page of this site the form was sent from.

Your IP address is seen by the systems that serve this site, in order to limit how many submissions one connection can make in a minute and to keep automated spam out. We do not store it and it is not included in the email we receive.

Why, and on what basis

We use what you send us for one purpose: to reply to your enquiry and, if you want to go further, to talk about working together. Our lawful basis is that you have asked us to: in the language of the UK GDPR, we are taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and it is in our legitimate interest to answer people who contact us. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not send marketing.

Where it goes

The form is handled on our own domain and the enquiry is delivered to our mailbox by email. Three kinds of service provider handle it on our behalf along the way, each under a contract that limits what they may do with it:

  • The provider that hosts this site receives your submission, checks it and passes it on. It keeps a technical log of each request (time, country, the kind of enquiry and whether it was delivered) and never your name, email address or message.
  • The provider that delivers the email to us. The message is processed in the European Union.
  • The provider that hosts our mailbox, in European data centres.

Our hosting provider operates a worldwide network, so the request that carries your form may be handled outside the UK. Where personal data leaves the UK, it does so under the safeguards the UK GDPR recognises, including the UK’s adequacy arrangements for the EU and standard contractual terms. We do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone else.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for no longer than twelve months. If a conversation ends without us working together, the email is deleted sooner. If we do work together, what you told us becomes part of the engagement record and is kept for as long as that relationship, and the contract behind it, requires.

Cookies and analytics

This site currently sets no cookies and runs no analytics, tracking pixels or advertising tags. Nothing optional runs today.

We expect that to change. As the business grows we intend to add measurement: a tag manager, web analytics, and conversion tracking for the advertising platforms we work with. So that nothing of that kind can run without your agreement, the site already asks for your choice and is set up to treat every optional purpose as switched off until you accept.

Your choice, accept or decline, is remembered in your browser’s local storage on your own device, not in a cookie, and it is not sent to us. It is needed only to avoid asking you on every page, and clearing your browser’s site data forgets it. You can change your mind at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer.

Before any optional measurement is switched on, this page will be updated to list what runs, who provides it, what it collects and how long its cookies last.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to our using it, or ask us to restrict what we do with it. Use the contact form and we will act on the request within one month, as the law requires. Deleting your enquiry is the usual outcome and we will confirm when it is done.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We would rather hear from you first.
